Step 1: Enable the Integration inside Planning Center
- Log in to your Planning Center account.
- Go to the Integrations page.
- Find the MinistrySafe tile and click ‘Enable.’
Step 2: Authorize Your Accounts
Before ordering your first Background Check, you must connect your Planning Center account with your MinistrySafe account inside Planning Center.
- In ‘People,’ open the profile of the person for whom you’d like to order the Background Check.
- Click the shield icon in the top right corner.
- Select ‘Order background check with MinistrySafe.’
- Follow the prompts to authorize the connection between the two accounts.
Please Note: Users already listed in your MinistrySafe Control Panel before the integration will not connect to Planning Center or show Training or Background Check completions within Planning Center. Only Training and Background Check completions by users pulled from Planning Center after the integration will appear. Duplicate profiles may occur if a user is listed in your MinistrySafe Control Panel before the integration and is additionally moved over from Planning Center via integration.
