Integrating with Planning Center

MinistrySafe offers an integrated two-way connection with Planning Center, enabling ministries to seamlessly track completion of Background Checks, Sexual Abuse Awareness Training and Skillful Screening Training within Planning Center.

Within the User’s Planning Center profile, Administrators may view the User’s date of completion and score related to Sexual Abuse Awareness Training and Skillful Screening Training. As well, Administrators may view completed Background Checks and Training renewal dates.

Users in your Planning Center account are automatically imported into the MinistrySafe Control Panel.

To integrate:

  • Click on the ‘Admin’ tab in the left-hand menu, then click on ‘Integrations’ in the top toolbar. (You may choose one Group or List within Planning Center to pull into the MinistrySafe system).
  • We'll automatically add your Planning Center Users into your MinistrySafe Control Panel.
  • Assign, track, and manage Trainings and Background Checks through our simple online system.
  • A User’s profile will automatically update in Planning Center upon completion of Sexual Abuse Awareness Training, Skillful Screening Training and Background Checks.

This is a live integration, continuously moving Users (every 24 hours) into your MinistrySafe Control Panel when Users are added into Planning Center.

The information pulled from Planning Center into the MinistrySafe Control Panel includes:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Planning Center user ID

Please Note:

Users already listed in your MinistrySafe Control Panel before the integration will not connect to Planning Center or show Training or Background Check completions within Planning Center. Only Training and Background Check completions by Users pulled from Planning Center after the integration will appear. Duplicate profiles may occur if a User is listed in your MinistrySafe Control Panel before the integration and is additionally moved over from Planning Center via integration.

Integrating with a group through Planning Center will move Users over only the first time. Any Users added to the group after the integration will not be reflected. Those added through the group will continue to update. For this reason, we recommend integrating with a list or integrating all Users, which will continue to update and add any Users added after the integration.
