How to set email notification preferences

SSAs now have the ability to set the email notification preferences for themselves and their Supervisors so they can control who receives the training completed emails. (These settings do not affect your ability to receive notifications from MinistrySafe/Abuse Prevention Systems.)

For SSAs, there are three options:

  • All Organization Notifications: You will receive ALL training completed notifications regardless of their tag or sender. (if this is selected, the other two options automatically select as well)
  • Notifications from my tags: This option allows you to receive notifications from people in your own tag/department. This is especially useful if your organization has a lot of activity and you don't want to know about the activity of users that are not in your department.
  • Notifications from training links I send: This option will only send you notifications of trainings completed that you have sent out. 

If you do not wish to receive any training notifications, you can uncheck all the boxes.

Supervisors only have Notifications from my tags and Notifications from training links I send as options for their preferences and only the SSA can change their email preferences. 

If you are the SSA wanting to change your own preferences, click the GEAR in the top right hand corner, and click My account.

Scroll down to the Email settings section and check/uncheck the desired boxes to customize your settings, then click SAVE.

To change a Supervisor's preferences, go to Manage Users. Find your Supervisor and click the blue user icon. 

Then click the Gear and select Edit User Info.

Scroll down to the Email settings section and check/uncheck the desired boxes to customize your settings, then click SAVE.

The same steps can be followed to change another SSA's preferences.
